Verify 3.1 merchant software enables merchants
to accept all major credit cards, debit cards,
purchase cards, and private label cards through
a PC or PC-based POS system. IC Verify credit
card software provides everything stand-alone
credit card terminals do, plus much more. For
example, all transactions are stored for up
to nine years. IC Verify can recall transactions
on screen or sent to a printer. Transaction information
can be searched by customer name, invoice number,
date, or date range, etc. For merchants doing
some or all order processing via mail or phone
order, IC Verify provides many valuable features.
Because IC Verify runs directly on the Point-Of-Sale
system (PC-based cash register or computer),
the system's keyboard provides the full alphanumeric
capability required for address verification
on transactions. This does not happen with a
bank terminal. This feature can dramatically
reduce fraud and charge backs . To support the
trend of busy professional groups (such as doctors
and lawyers) sharing offices and services, IC
